McDonald's Glass Twister Challenge

Kuala Lumpur, 23rd September 2009 – McDonald’s Malaysia launches a new interactive game contest called McDonald’s Glass Twister Challenge today. Idotyou is pleased to be the Digital Marketing Agency that built the game and manage the campaign for McDonald’s.

In conjunction with their promotion on the 7 Coke Glasses, McDonald’s wanted a high stickiness game that can help to generate the promotion awareness and stimulate consumers interest in the Coke Glasses. The interface of the game consists of the 7 Coke Glasses. Gamers need to swap glasses to form 3 in a row and more in order to score. There’ll be bonus ways to score higher as stated in the Game Rules. Glass Twister Challenge runs from 23 Sept to 13 Oct 2009. Each week, the top 2 weekly scorers will each win a Limited Edition Collectors Pack.

A week before Glass Twister Challenge starts, a teaser campaign was first launched on McDonald’s Malaysia Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/My.McDonalds) to get the fans to guess the sequence of the launching of the 7 Coke Glasses. The teaser campaign generated very good response from the fans.
