Kuala Lumpur, 15th July 2010 – McDonald’s Malaysia pushed out its new recipe today, called the GCB™, a brand new chicken experience. The new GCB™ was revealed to the 160,000 McDonald’s Malaysia fans on Facebook yesterday, one day earlier before the grand launch today.
In conjunction with the grand launch, McDonald’s also launches its nationwide consumer interactive campaign on Facebook to allow the consumers to tell what’s their G in the GCB™, and the reason why after tasting the new GCB™. Great-tasting, Grilled, Glorious, Gorgeous – these are the many words McDonald’s use to describe the taste of the new GCB™. Participants with the most creative entries stand a chance to win attractive cash prizes from McDonald’s.
idotyou developed the Facebook application to allow the participants to submit their G-entries by following a step-by-step guides in the application. Participants can also jazz up their entries by uploading a photo and/or a YouTube video clip that contains the new GCB™.
